Hamilton Beach 932 Commercial Citrus Juicer is a simple classic-looking and effective citrus juicer. It is made up of solid metal with enamel finish and acid-resistant which can make the cleaning process easier. This juicer has a removable and easy to clean strainer cone and funnel which separates pulp, peel, and oil from the juice. The swing-out drip cup feature of this juicer for small citrus fruits is very user-friendly keeping your countertop clean.

How about the juicing process? Rack-and-pinion gearing is very effective in applying force to the squeezer. It exerts up to 2,000 pounds of pressure which does a good job of extracting all the juice. Here’s what current owners have to say about it:

U. Salli says:

I tried some cheaper pressure juicers like arcosteel and typhoon. Although these two got the idea, they were far away from juicing oranges (they can do lemons and limes OK). Thyphoon got some design issues though. Hamilton Beach is good for small and mid-size oranges (haven’t tried large orange or grapefruit yet). It has enough power and capacity to get all the juice out. I can get one glass of juice from two oranges whereas it took three oranges with arcosteel and more with typhoon.

HB has larger and stronger pressure cup that gets the job done. The strainer has little round holes all over the place so juice finds its way down. Others had fewer but larger holes which allowed the white stuff inside the orange get into the juice but also smashed the orange against nonperforated surface. HB’s strainer holds the pulp stuck inside wall which can be later scraped and put back into the juice or discarded. It is not the intention to callect pulps this way probably but I usually scrape it and put it back to the juice for extra fiber.

I also noticed that juice is sweeter because there is lees skin oil. With others, there was more oil and that made the juice taste bitter. I guess it is related with the number of holes being more in HB. Therefore, there is less pressure on the skin.

It is easy to clean. You need to line up the groves and edges to disassemble. Drip collection cup works like charm.

Every time I squeeze oranges with HB, it thinks about what I read once from another review “juice galore”. If you tried others, you will like this one. I didn’t give 5 stars because it is not perfect (1- squeezing arm stands in lower angle at the time of squeeze, not an efficient angle to use your muscles efficiently if it sit on a normal height countertop, 2- it may not have the same efficiency with larger oranges and grapefruits, and 3- it is kind of expensive but thanks to Amazon.com I got a very good deal). Hope this review helps.

S. Goodwin (United States) says:

I’ve only had this juicer about 2 weeks but I absolutely love it. Very easy to clean and super easy to juice. The base is very heavy and sturdily made. The moveable parts come out easily and fit in my dishwasher for cleaning. I have wanted one of these for years and couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
L. Shapcott “maplesookie” says:

This is my first citrus juicer. MUCH better for citrus than a centrifugal juicer–far less prep. Just slice the orange in half. If you press down slow and steady, you’ll have fewer problems with juice squirting you in the face.

The pulp separator does a pretty neat job. It plugs up after about 4-5 oranges, and if you remove it, scoop the pulp out with your fingers and run it under some water really quick you will get better results.

The drip cup is a fabulous idea.

Overall, very glad I purchased it.
